This holiday season, Pokémon TCG Pocket is turning up the heat with the launch of its first-ever Fire-type Mass Outbreak event. From November 22 to 29, players can dive into a fiery adventure, collecting a range of Fire-type Pokémon cards as part of a limited-time celebration.
The Fire-type Mass Outbreak Event
The Fire-type Mass Outbreak event brings a unique twist to the game by adding an exciting selection of Fire-type Pokémon to the Wonder Pick pool. Much like previous events centered around other Pokémon, such as Meowth and Chansey, this one provides bonus Wonder Picks, giving players a chance to collect rare Fire-type cards and earn valuable rewards while working towards completing their collections.
Event Wonder Picks and Rewards
During the event, players can access two types of Wonder Picks: the Event Wonder Pick and the Bonus Pick. The Event Wonder Pick, available for three Wonder Pick Stamina, gives players access to high-rarity Fire-type cards such as Charizard, Moltres, and Arcanine ex. The Bonus Pick, available once per hour for free, offers a broader selection of lower-rarity Fire-type cards, including Charmander, Vulpix, and Ponyta, as well as additional rewards like Shop Tickets and Wonder Hourglasses.

The Event Wonder Pick features several iconic Fire-type cards, including:
- Arcanine ex
- Charizard
- Moltres
- Ninetales
- Rapidash
- Charmeleon
- Blaine
Meanwhile, the Bonus Pick introduces cards like Magmar, Heatmor, and Blaine alongside rewards like Pack Hourglasses and Wonder Hourglasses.
Players will also have the chance to unlock a special Yellow Circles Flair for Arcanine ex, though its availability after the event ends remains uncertain, making this an exclusive opportunity.
Special Missions for Extra Rewards
As part of the Fire-type Mass Outbreak event, players can complete Special Missions for additional rewards. These simple tasks reward players with Wonder Hourglasses and Shop Tickets, enhancing the event experience. Some of the tasks include collecting specific amounts of Fire-type cards, such as:
- Collect one Arcanine ex card – Rewards: One Wonder Hourglass and one Shop Ticket
- Wonder Pick five times – Rewards: Three Wonder Hourglasses and three Shop Tickets
- Collect 15 Fire cards – Rewards: Four Wonder Hourglasses and seven Shop Tickets
